Please Check Your Connection:
First, try opening
Internet Explorer before opening the console:
If a
nondefault (Non Microsoft / Internet Explorer, etc...) Internet
Connection is used, the console might report that you are not connected to
the internet
You can try this version which allows you to ignore the
connection messagebox. (Self Extracting EXE, Extract to your "program files/tg
games" folder) Click

Windows ME:
When a computer is on a private LAN and a default gateway is
not
configured (it doesn't matter whether the machine is configured as a DHCP
client or is using a static IP address), The Tournament Console will
think that you are not connected if
Never Dial a Connection is selected from
the Connection Tab in Internet Options
even though the machine is
connected to the internet.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolved
this issue, either configure the computer or the DHCP server (if a
DHCP
server is being used) to use a default gateway. The IP address for the
DHCP
server is the suggested address for the default gateway.
Following is a solution for XP users (Sent in by a player (thanks Sarah!) using a Broad Band Connection):
1 go to your network connections.
2 click on local area connection or
whatever you have named your connection
3 on the side click on set up home
or small office network.
4 click on next 2 times then when you get to the
page that says "set a connection method click
5 click other and then hit
next.
6 click on this computer connects directly to the internet, i do not
have a network yet.
7 click next till you get to the screen that says please
wait.
8 on the screen that says your're almost done click on just finish the
wizard..... then click next
9 click next 2 or 3 more time till the wizard
closes.
10 restart your computer.
11 start up Tournament games console
and you should be good to go.
when you have a problem, close the
console and email me the
latest debug
file. You can periodically delete these if you like, since they
can grow
large if you have a lot of activity on the console. Future versions
will
have an
abbreviated version of debugging to save space.
