When two or more players are competing in the same game, why is it that the first player to reach the goal automatically wins? There have been numerous times that this has happened. My score was higher than the winners, but the other player won. I got the message saying that the winning score had been reached, but I was still playing.Why is that?

That would be because they are sprint tournaments. The first one to reach the score wins.
