Stalled Tournaments

Normally Limited Entry tournaments stay open until all entries are filled. Occasionally one will become stalled because the first place score is so high no one else wants to challenge it. If there are no entries for several days, then we will close it but the jackpot is prorated based on the number of actual entries compared to the Entry Limit. If this value is less than the entry fee, then we will go ahead and refund the entry fee amount otherwise it is calculated comparing actual entries to LE limit. if it was an LE 100 and 50 people had entered we would award the 1st place entry 50/100 or 50% of the prize. The reason we do this is because the prize must come out of the entry fees. Every few days we review any open tournaments and close them if they appear to be stalled.
