Sorry, but the rules pages for the games are really inadequate. I hoped to find more here in the forum, but no luck. So in a "standard" game of 9 ball pool, you have to sink every single ball? How is that standard? lol
Do you at least get a bonus if you sink the 9 ball earlier?
Also, do you have to shoot balls in order as you would in regular game?

Ok, well thru playing I see that it doesnt matter what order you in sink them in.
I still wish the rules for most of the games here were just a little more detailed and did a better job explaining how to play/score, rather than having to learn by trial and error

Hi joker8334,
I'm not sure if you have seen it, but under the Play Games tab at the top of the console you will see Game Rules. Click Game Rules and choose TG Pool. It will bring up how to play tg pool, also there are some links under install your games now on that same page that say Game Layout, Scoring, Shot Alignment Guide, and Bonus Points that will bring you right to the section you are interested in. I hope that gives you some more details in those links. If that does not answer your questions, you can use the contact us link at the top left of the console. Thanks for playing!

Ummm yea. I appreciate you trying to help (nice to know someone is!), but I think you may have either misread my posts or I may be confused about the website/console layout. I twice referenced the rules pages and suggested that they were inadequate and they didn't do a good enough job of summing up the goals & rules of the game. It seems like you are directing me right back to the place I complained about. I had a little trouble finding stuff on the site in the beginning, so I'm wondering if I may be missing out on something? Is there more than one location for game rules? Is one area more detailed than the other?
I'm sorry, Im confusing myself now. I am new here so please have patience. I apologize if I sound stupid.
PS....on a separate note, do u know why in some TG Pool games with Hot Pockets/Hot Balls, I sometimes only get one chance at a Hot Pocket/Ball??? I played multiple entries in the same tournament and most of the time a hot pocket or ball will light up, and then after I sink it or time runs out, another one will light up, and so on. However, sometimes I only get one chance (i.e. the ball/pocket lights up and if I don't sink it, no other ones light up for the remainder of game). Is there a rule to these bonus pockets/balls that isn't posted? It seems very unfair if in the same tournament, one entry will get 5 or 6 or more bonus chances, and another entry only gets 2 chances. That stinks bc chance and luck start playing a larger factor in addition to skill.
Thanks again, sorry I'm a noob and just trying to figure out my way around!

I've had the same problem with this game. If not for the bonus ball/pocket, I wouldn't even be competetive. It really kills my game when I only get the bonus once and then watch every shot I take scratch!

Bonus balls and hot pockets, I've noticed, seem to have a sort of timing system and ... "order" I guess? To them. You have to find out the timing system yourssself of course.

LOL Since it took me about a huundred freaking games of actually looking and paying attention to get it. But I will tell you that I've noticed that if you "skip" over the programmed " opportunity" for them, the next time it should come around it will see that the previous one didn't show and quit from there on out. also if you're playinng the game... too slow?- then it'll just pass you by before quiting out on you. I guess the bonus balls are aimmed for the players who aren't too good or too bad at shooting pool.
And the "Standard/Custom/Random" 9 or 15 ball thing just means how they rack the balls for break, though I think you figured that out already. Cheers!
