Points Scored

The number of points scored on a shot is determined by the number of balls pocketed times the timer value.   The timer does not start until the cue ball makes contact with the first ball.

Every time a ball is pocketed, the timer is reset to full value.   The countdown begins again as soon as all balls from the previous shot come to rest.  Anytime you fail to pocket a ball, the timer continues thus decreasing the number of points possible.

Points Deducted

Points are deducted anytime you scratch (pocket the cue ball).   No points are awarded for balls pocketed if a scratch occurs on that shot.
