ASK DR OCTOBER: Question: I’ve had sinus problems and a rash on my upper arm since I began playing Tournament Games and I’ve heard a lot about computer viruses. Is there something you could tell me about the possible relationship? Answer: No. I could, however, tell you there’s been an email circulating with a subject that may contain “Virus Alert” or have some mention of SULFNBK.exe. Should you receive a copy of this message, just go ahead and ignore it. Certainly don’t pass it on NOR SHOULD YOU DELETE ANY FILES FROM YOUR COMPUTER. The Hoax Warning is circulating in several disguises but generally describes a virus that could already exist in your computer and provides directions for removing certain files in your system. It also may advise you that there is no software to detect the dormant virus. The email may instruct you to delete SULFNBK.exe. SULFNBK.exe is a standard element of the Windows operating system and SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED. You might want to check out http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html for further information regarding virus hoaxes. Should you have any technical questions regarding the operation and performance of Tournament Games, please email [email protected] He’ll help. In fact, if you ever have any questions (state capitals, chemical elements, current RBI leaders, or the life and times of civet cats, (GoofOff), please email us.
