With this first newsletter we�re announcing the beta release of a new and improved console version which makes choosing the tournament you�d like to play much more intuitive. Once the final touches are made on the new console, work will finally be back underway on the long awaited Mega Stars, the sequel to Triple Stars, played in the same way but with changing card layouts on each hand.

Hindsight is 20/20 

Monday, June 18, 2001, there will be some changes to our player ranking system. Basically, these changes classify and rank players based on their tournament wins and the highest score posted in that tournament instead of the average of all games as had been done previously. This change is designed to provide opportunities for more and varied winners by limiting participation based on rankings. The higher ranking players still have the same opportunities to win, just in a more competitive field.

The following changes have been implemented in regards to the handling of your credits. Credit card payments will be shown as a Credit Balance (formerly referred to as the Promo Balance) and not subject to withdrawal but obviously can be applied to tournament entry fees. Everything else remains the same such as your tournament winnings being available at your discretion. These actions are to further protect you from credit card fraud and to more fully comply with the rules associated with the credit card companies.
